Black to Black
Tank:Mossimo; ScarfVest;NWD Skirt:SWS;
Necklace:Forever21; Shoes:Fioni
By now I sound like a broken record... I miss my fashion school days. Well really I just miss going to school with people who inspired me to dress better. As usual I'm always the most "over dressed" person in my class. Sadly to me, over dressed for school would mean showing up in 5 inch glittered heels, a body-con primary colored dress and a fur coat.
I guess I'm long over due for a trip back into my V-Fabulous lifestyle to renew my soul & spice me up long enough until the end of the school year.

Bad Ass Barbie
Photography by Lauren Dukoff;
Styling by Kelly McCabe
Courtesy of: www.complex.com
She kills it every time. Our girl Nicki Minaj is looking super wonderful in these black and white photos; the girl has some fine curves. I'm a huge fan of this little diva. I think she is a great talent especially in such a male dominated section of the music industry. That is all....

Candie Co...
Tops:Candie Co;
Bottoms&Footwear:Various Personal Extras
I love these Candie Co. pictures so much I just had to share them. I met the owner Matt, at school and I was thrilled when he asked me to help out with their Fall photo shoot. We spent a fun night shooting various crazy pictures; it helped to be hyped up on sugar from our oversized lollipops. I'm not ashamed to admit I ate a good portion of mine. Shutterbug Photography has a very cool way of getting across the Candie vibe in the photos.
Candie Co. is a mixture of vibrant, basic and comfortable clothing. It's very popular with the crowed of BMX'ers in my local area; Candie is a very big sponsor for many riders. I always have fun working with them and really love lounging in their zip up hoodie.

The Only Exception
Before I even allow you the satisfaction of jumping all over me you must understand one thing;
rules are meant to be broken...
rules are meant to be broken...
Sweatpants:JoeFresh; Bag:EdHardy
I know, I know...
Sweatpants and Ed Hardy are two of the highest "no-no's" on my list but whateverrrrr. Every rule book has a little "grey" area. The sweatpants are a super edgy version of A.Wang's and the bag has some serious tough love sass; it's great for carting my school stuff.
Do not worry, I'm definitely not converting to some Jersey Shore-bleachblonde-overtanned-overlabeled-wannabe. Every diva has her down days and when I have mine I at least want to do it fashionably. The bag happens to be my very first purchase from Beyond The Rack; a great place to find designer discounts

Too Hot For You To Leave Her...
I swear this isn't turning into a music blog. Music is a huge part of my life, if you haven't noticed already. This Rihanna leak was definitely written just for me & I love how the Pop Princess managed to pull it out of nowhere...

Any Love for Lilo?
*Photos courtesy of X17Online
Well you gotta hand it to her, the girl has not stopped working since her days in the slammer; even though these pictures were taken before, back when she was a brunette.
I'm not promoting LILO or going to defend her in any means. However, I do feel sorry for her and think that she's been through a series of very unfortunate events that could have been prevented very easily if the proper guidance was given to her.
These prints are from the Fall/Winter collection of Fornarnia and she is looking very saucy in them. It's a long way from her previous Fornarnia commercial...

Back In The Saddle
LaceTop:Suzy; Jeans:
Necklace:Spring; Belt:ALDO; CowboyBoots:Vintage
One week down and only 32 more to go...
If nothing else, this school year will bring me the pure satisfaction of being able to say "YES, I am blonde & YES I am an accounting major". I love killing the blonde stereotype much more than you would believe is possible; but that doesn't mean I don't know when to play the blonde card; that makes for a deadly combination if you ask me.
School is back in session and the obvious highlight of my day consists of picking out my outfit. Going back to my prairie roots I just had to pull out the cowboy boots because nothing screams FALL IS HERE more than a good pair of boots.

You're Kinda Lame
See it never had to be this way...
Thank you JLo for providing my current theme song. I miss the days of good old Jenny from the block making hits with Ja Rule; takes me right back to when I was in junior high school.
It's been awhile since you came around
Now ya wanna see what's goin' down
Tryin' to tell me why ya want my time
Tryin' to tell me how I'm on your mind
See it never had to be this way
You should of never played the games you played
Now I'm seein' that you're kinda lame
Knowin' how the situation change
Ain't that funny
Baby that you want me, when you had me
Love is crazy,
Now I can smile and say
Ain't that funny
Baby that you want me, when you had me
Love is crazy, I'm glad I can smile and say
Ain't that funny
I remember how you walked away
Even when I tried to call your name
See at first I didn't understand
Now you're lookin' like a lonely man
I remember how you did me wrong
And now you're hurtin' cos my love is gone
Everybody gets a chance to burn
You can take it as a chance to learn.

Stanton James
I came across this company, Stanton James, on Twitter and I've been captivated with their stuff ever since.
"Having loved fashion from day one, my sister and I saw a void for a truly urban, yet modern, indie shopping site. We desired to create something that shared our same vibe, combined our distinct styles but lacked the corporate boundaries. We wanted a site that talked and walked like us, our friends and probably many of you. After months and months of planning the result is Stanton James, Stanton our mother's maiden name and James our father's name."
The above pictures are some of my favorite looks from their look book this season. This LA brand is super cool and the girls that I have chatted with seem like really awesome people. I love everything they bring in and find myself picturing many items in my closet. It's definitely the best place to find eco-friendly, indie, hard-to-find pieces for your wardrobe. My two favorite designers they carry are A(R)MOR & Stone Cold Fox.

I Wanna See Your Peacock
Tunic&Ring:H&M; Shorts:CostaBlanca
Sandals:OldNavy; Bracelets:ALDO; Earrings;Unknown
Ohhh the last few days of summer require me to pull out my favorite pieces and get in one last wear. This top was probably the best $13 from H&M I have ever spent. It made a great beach cover up/day trips top/lazy day attire.
I love tribal prints and I'm so happy they always seem to be in style come spring or fall.
