Cardigans have come along way from the days of hearing the word and thinking of your Grandpa's sweaters.

Sometimes there is nothing better than the simple solution of putting on a simple cardigan. I love layering them, especially for those chillier days in the classroom. Much more sophisticated than a hoodie and definitely less bulky.

I like tank tops underneath but I have become a huge fan of wearing them with a button up shirt -- my new go-to combo

Borrow from the Boyfriend

I have always loved the look of a well tailored blazer but there is something so chic about the "borrowed from the boyfriend" look.

And if you don't have a boyfriend, you can do like me and buy one that simply looks that way.

Whether it's the slightly longer body or the broader shoulders, I can't get enough. The key to pulling one off is definitely less is more. I love them over a little dress or a graphic tee paired with leggings. Let the blazer be the focus. Pair it with a chain hand bag&edgy shoes and you're good to go.
